A word from Oprah – shedding light on our homeless female veteran population

In her farewell season, Oprah Winfrey continues to educate and advise the public on important societal issues. We at MDG are especially grateful to her for producing and airing American War Heroes: Why Are These Women Now Homeless? on Friday, October 15. This story will open our collective eyes on one of the many serious issues that plague our veterans. We are hopeful that her reporting will not only raise awareness, but motivate all of us to get involved with helping our veterans.

As an agency, we are very familiar with veterans issues. We are proud to work with The Veterans Support Organization, whose core mission is to help veterans who are homeless, or near homeless, organize a “path” to independent living. Through our work with this client, we have seen first-hand the array of issues surrounding the men and women who have honorably served our country. Together, we work very hard for the cause,  yet discover on a daily basis that the more we do, the more we realize how much more there is to be done.

Thank you, Oprah!
