Techcrunch.com reports that online deal giant Groupon and ticketing service Live Nation have partnered to develop a new online ticketing-deals marketplace called GrouponLive. The channel will offer limited-time discounts to the wide range of Live Nation events across America, as well as serve the needs of its ticketing business, Ticketmaster.
The collaboration can be attributed to Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary, who served as an advisor on the deal based on his involvement on Groupon’s advisory board and his Live Nation experience as a manager and concert promoter.
