comScore recently released some comparative findings regarding Web traffic from mobile devices which revealed that iPad accounts for 97 percent of tablet traffic in the U.S., as well as 89 percent of tablet traffic across all markets. Search Engine Land provided additional insights into iPad’s digital domination.
To date, Apple has sold approximately 25 million iPads worldwide, while competitors have seen dismal sales.
There’s no denying the explosive growth of mobile devices, with tablets being the latest must-have gadget. Fortunately for Apple, most of the world has eyes only for iPad. In Canada, the iPad is responsible for 33.5 percent of all non-PC traffic, as well as approximately 30 percent of non-PC traffic in Brazil, Germany, and Spain.
