MediaPost.com reports that Twitter recently introduced a “follow” button that will let users instantly follow a specific feed or Twitter account. This button is currently featured on 50 publishing sites, including The Wall Street Journal and Huffington Post.
This new button is receiving a mixed reaction with some fans looking forward to the convenience of following any Twitter account with a simple click, while others worry that it will add another button to an already cluttered panel of options.
Regardless, Twitter’s new button is intended to expand its presence on the Web while benefiting publishers and brands by keeping users connected to their content.
