Media Coordinator

Job Description

We’re seeking a media coordinator to support our Media team’s efforts in the planning and buying process of traditional and digital media. The ideal candidate is comfortable with technology, has a background or interest in advertising/marketing and is self-motivated, has a sense of urgency, and is able to appropriately balance and prioritize a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.

You will be responsible for supporting the media team in the process of buying traditional and digital media, such as Radio, Digital Radio, Display, Print, OOH, and more.

This is a remote position.  Frequent video meetings are held with the team and clients throughout the day.  Employee should expect to hold a professional home working environment and be “client ready” when necessary.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Report into the Media Director and serve as a liaison between internal teams as needed
  • Research and contact media vendors and gather information for buyers
  • Build relationships with media vendors
  • Request monthly reporting information from vendor partners and/or pull information from dashboards
  • Create insertion and broadcast orders
  • Traffic creative out to vendors
  • Collaborate with Media, Account Services, and Finance departments to perform monthly invoicing and billing
  • Work with internal teams to plan and execute stages of the media plans
  • Collaborate on campaign strategies for clients
  • Assist in creating powerpoint presentations for clients
  • Anticipate and identify issues and proactively recommend solutions
  • Keep current on advertising and media trends and opportunities
  • May assist in other tasks as needed


  • BA/BS degree
  • 1-2 years experience in media assisting at an agency
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Strong understanding of basic advertising principles
  • Comfortable working with budgets and basic financial math
  • Proficient in G-Suite, particularly Excel & Google Sheets
  • a positive, fun, and professional attitude
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Workamajig, and media buying softwares a plus
