Paid Media Manager

MDG Advertising is looking for a Paid Media Manager who will spend 50% of their time implementing and optimizing paid search campaigns, and 50% of their time assisting the team in strategies, recommendations, and optimizations for all digital media efforts.


  • Candidate should have 3-5 years experience in paid media/advertising in an agency setting
  • Paid search / Google Ads Certification required
  • Paid social or programmatic media (DSP) experience
  • Proficient with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Self-starter, analytical, and creative thinking are a must – You love problem solving!
  • Must have a love for math, budgets, and data-driven insights/analysis
  • Highly communicative in a remote work environment but able to prioritize your tasks and work autonomously
  • Traditional media experience, SEO knowledge, and SEMRush experience a bonus


  • Work with the Media Director to develop paid media strategies on search, display, and other programmatic media (display, native, CTV/Video, Audio)
  • Day-to-day supervision of media campaigns including oversight of buys/execution, budgets, optimization, implementing pixels, creating audiences, implementing third-party data, and creative trafficking
  • Identifying and vetting new media opportunities within the space when necessary
  • Perform monthly reporting, gathering metrics and providing valuable insights, and updating client dashboards and/or powerpoint presentations
  • Work with vendors when needed to identify areas of opportunity and/or underperformance
  • Perform keyword, market, and competitor analysis when needed
  • Write PPC ad copy and optimize campaigns
  • Demonstrable ability to adapt quickly based on clients’ business needs
  • Assist in monthly billing reconciliation
  • Confidently participate in client meetings to provide insight and recommendations
