It’s called Amazon Destinations and it’s a part of their Amazon Local Brand. It offers all types of hotel accommodations to meet any property preference, including large hotel chains, sprawling resorts, small independent hotels, and intimate B&Bs. Amazon has been offering online hotel reservations for quite some time. But Amazon Destinations provides a one-stop site for researching, reserving, and reviewing various travel options and offers for select destinations. Currently, Amazon Destinations is only available for properties in the Northeast, Pacific Northwest, and Southern California. Yet once it takes off with travelers, it’s expected to expand to other locations.
