New York, New York – August 23, 2010 –MDG Advertising announced today that it has signed an agreement with The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Going forward, MDG Advertising will be securing strategic partners and luxury-brand sponsorships for The International Academy’s global events.
The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is a membership-based organization comprised of leading media and entertainment figures from over 50 countries and 500 companies from all sectors of television including Internet, mobile and technology.

This year’s Special Award honorees include American Idol judge and Got Talent executive producer, Simon Cowell, who will receive the 2010 International Emmy® Founders Award, and Saturday Night Live creator and executive producer, Lorne Michaels, who will receive the 2010 International Emmy® Directorate Award.
A cast of international celebrities will present International Emmy Awards to winners in ten categories as over 1,000 television professionals, 200 journalists and photographers representing the world’s leading media outlets, gather to celebrate excellence in television produced outside of the U.S.
In addition to the gala in New York, other events include: The International Emmy® World Television Festival , The International Digital Emmy® Awards at MIPTV held in Cannes, France , as well as a series of industry events throughout the year, such as Academy Day, and Panels on substantive industry topics.
